Personal Statement
At 5' 8" and weighing 155 pounds, I offer drive, dedication, and excellence to my team. I live, eat, and breathe to run. In making Varsity while in my Sophomore year, I know I can go to CIF. I am open to a university that would provide me with an opportunity that would realize my full potential. It is my goal to make my coach, my team, and my school proud; but most importantly, I am determined to bring pride and ultimate satisfaction to my family. Coming from a low-income, single parent home, I have seen the difficulties of what a life without an education is. With my determination, I have chosen to major in Criminal Justice or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering. A career in this field will allow me to continue with my ultimate athletic aspirations, which is to run in the Olympics. Thank you.
