As a college-student athlete, my goal is to balance my academics and athletics in the best way possible. Although I prioritize academics and hope to pursue a career in the architecture field, my true aspiration is to become a great runner. I would like to be part of a team that lifts each other up no matter the circumstances. As the distance captain and 2021 cross country team MVP, I try to bring this spirit to our team. I value being a versatile runner. In track, I can compete in distances from the 400m all the way to the 3200m, and am a member of the varsity 4x400 relay team. I greatly enjoy competing on the cross-country team, and train just as hard for that season as for track. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help our team win.
In academics, I am currently taking advanced placement courses as well as honors courses, and am in the Mountain House Engineering Pathway program. I apply the same work ethic I have in running to my academics, and currently have a GPA of over 4.3. I have been thoroughly enjoying my journey so far, and can’t wait for what the future has in store for me!
