I first started running freshman year and have loved every moment of it. Freshman year, I was on the JV team, and I had a strong desire to be the fastest on my team. When covid struck, I used the time to work hard and improve my times. I went from a 20 minute 3 mile (freshman year) to an 18:03 by sophomore year. I brought my mile time down from a 5:45 (freshman year) to a 5:02. I brought my mile time down even more this year to a 4:52 and hope to break 4:50 by the end of the season. What sets me apart from my peers is I work very hard to achieve my goals. I have one year left in my high school career. I have loved every moment of running in high school, and I would love to continue running in college.
