I would like to start by thanking you for viewing my profile. Thank you for showing interest in me as a future student athlete, I am truly grateful. I would like to give you some feedback about myself. My coach likes to say I am a very essential part of my time as not only do I put in hard work, but I also cheer up my team, I let them know when we are doing bad, and I also try to look out for my team mates. This is one of the reasons for which I have been selected to be a team captain my upcoming senior year. I also won the coaches award for excellence my prior cross season, I won the award because I put in a lot of hard work, I came off an injury from track season, and I was way behind since I went to sprints during track (big mistake), and the guys that stayed in distance were so much faster. To sum it up I became the third fastest runner on the team. I know I am not that fast, but I still have one year left, and I promise I will not disappoint. My goal is to go sub 16 for cross country which I am paving the way towards thanks to my amazing coach, and for track I wish to go sub 4:30 for the 1600. In College my main goal is to run a 3 minute mile. This is a big goal, but I know that with enough hard work and with the right coaching everything is possible. That is the only thing I truly look for in a college program,a coach that understands me, a coach that can mold me into the best runner that I could possibly be.
