As a first generation student athlete my desires are to play at the next college level. I am disciplined, dedicated and determined with my craft. The little steps are what matter the most in becoming the most successful athlete and that's exactly what I do. Most people consider me crazy or psycho for waking up at 4 in the morning to just work out and get my daily work out in. They think the way I eat is just not enjoyable but the thing is i'm different and better because maintaining a healthy diet and forcing yourself to just wake up that early, those are the most hardest steps. Putting in the extra work anyone can do eating healthy here and there anyone can do, its how hard and determined you are to stand out and succeed, those are the little steps that make an athlete or at least someone with desires to be successful to stand out and that's me. I train twice in a day so that I can show my competitors that they shouldn't take me lightly. I wanna be a challenge for them in and outside the classroom cause the only goal I have in my head every day is to win, not just in a track meet but in my academics, to win by being one the best student in the class or in the school. I can say my academics standout through out my high school years, I've maintained a 3.5 and above GPA, strictly been on principles honor roll, and I've even taken a math class over the summer and got ahead, along with obtaining my bi-literacy seal and getting a 3 on my AP Spanish literature exam. My hard work and discipline is what I know colleges are looking for and I consider myself to be the perfect student athlete to compete at the next level.
