My long term goal is to become an orthodontist one day but as of right now I am working on keeping my grades high, improving my athletics to run track at collegiate level, and maintaining my social life to help me achieve my ultimate goal. I think finding a balance among those 3 groups is vital for myself to stay happy and set myself up for short and long term success. Some things that set me apart from other student athletes include my work ethic for both athletics and academics, my competitive personality, and experience in running. The work ethic in my opinion is the most important because natural talent only goes so far and the strive to get better and following through is what will carry me forward and keep improving. I did competitive swimming for 8 years with a coach that taught me self discipline, passion, and team spirit which are also key components to an athlete and a person overall.
