An aspiration of mine is to earn a scholarship to attend college and graduate with a degree in Business. I would also appreciate the opportunity to participate in college Track and Field so that my family, especially my mom who is battling cancer for 6 years can still see me compete. If given the opportunity to participate in Track and Field, I would aim to earn recognition for the school I attend.
I would become a great asset to any team because I have a variety of experience in various sports. I am very thankful to my parents who involved me in sports at an early age of 2. I have a strong drive to succeed, and always willing to give my all and more. I find it rewarding to motivate and inspire others to reach their potential because if I am winning, I want to see my team win too. I am always optimistic in any event I involve myself in with the goal to always perform, thrive and excel. I look forward to and appreciate receiving feedback from coaches and peers because it allows me to learn from my mistakes, improve my skills and move forward regardless of any setback.
On and off the field, I have determination to stay focused on my sport and academics even when faced with difficulty. I have learned that success in not going to happen overnight, it takes self-discipline. I have the dedication to always give my all, the discipline to sacrifice things to reach my goals, and diversity to prevail in all I set my mind to. I owe it to myself to make my parents and family proud of all my achievements.
