Personal Statement
Hello there! My name is Andrew Engel, I attend Santa Rosa High School in Sonoma County, Santa Rosa, and will graduate in the year of 2020. I have been running competitive cross country/track and field since 7th grade. My PRs are 4:36 for 1600m and 10:21 for 3200m. Not only do I put copious work into my running ethic, I have a strong focus on academics as I have a 4.0 weighted GPA and am enrolled in 3 Advanced Placement classes. Both on the track and in the classroom, I can adapt to any task, whether it be a new workout, or an unfamiliar subject in school. My hard work has brought me far in life and I cannot wait to see where else it brings me!
