Personal Statement
Track is a passion of mine and im willing to work as hard as possible to be the best jumper on the field. For me Track is my #1 sport. My desire to excel as a triple jumper is just as mental as it is physical and im focused enough to be the best mentally prepared and physically prepared person on the field. To assist me in being prepared I have excelled as a High School athelete as well as off season with track club Beast Athletic Performance. When it comes to Track I have both the speed and agility to compete at all levels. My primary track event is the triple jump. As a triple jumper I was the #1 Statewide (California) Elite Sophomore triple jumper and took 1st place in the 2010 National Junior Olympic Championships Triple Jump with a PR of 47'03". This PR placed me as the #2 National Elite Intermediate Boys Triple Jumper. For 2011 I ended my season with a PR of 48'4 at the CIF San Joaquin Masters meet, which qualified me for the State Meet.
