The past four years of high school I have always gone back and forth between collegiate athletics. As my senior year approached I believe that athletics is a huge part of what makes me who I am. Cross country has always been a one season thing for me. I never ran in the summer, and if I did it was very little. Never ran in the winter, and couldn't even think about track. Now, that I am here set on running in college I am really wanting to make the commitment of running year round. With that being said I consistently run in the low 17 minute range for my 5k race and will break 17 occasionally. Coming from being a nationally ranked cyclist and rock climber, I know that I am more than capable to put in the time necessary, and make that commitment to be the best athlete that I can be for whatever school I look at. I work extremely well with others as I like to contribute as much to the team as possible. I am well aware of the times I put down for running aren't anything extraordinary. However, those times are all just from 3 months of training out of the year. I really look forward to the hard work ahead of me, and I hope that I can really show my true potential in cross country and track.
