James hibbard '19 Recruiting Profile

    Competing at the Colorado state meet since sophomore year and being only the 4th boys team in school history has been a great learning experience. We have progressed as a team, joining in a re-building year where there was not much leadership and we had to learn as we went. That I taught the freshman in my junior year why and how to do the workouts piecing together the information from 3 different coaches during my 3 years of running,  all with different coaching styles.

    I am grateful for this tremendous learning experience, achieving 15th and 9th team finishes at the state meet in my high school running career. I learned teamwork, commitment, time management, adaptability,  and leadership.
