Anthony Medina '20 Recruiting Profile

My passion for track started in the fifth grade. I went to my first track meet and participated in the long jump,  100m dash, and the 200m dash. Once I stepped foot on the track, I loved the nervous energy around me. I continued to compete all through middle school. I became obsessed with the overpowering feeling of adrenaline as I raced along the track.  When I started to compete in high school, that's when things kicked in.  As the competition got tougher I started to train harder. I knew I had to be in the best of shape to be able to compete at the High School level. I wanted to be the greatest I could possibly be, and I after numerous high competition track meets and many brutal practices, I am making progress.  My love for Track and Field puts me at a great position for your team.  I know I would be a great candidate for your team because I am a team player, I get along with teammates easily, and I listen to and respect coaches. I am different because I am not only running for your team to compete. I am running for your team to build character, to make friends, and have a great college experience.
