I am a junior at Windsor Charter Academy and will graduate with my High School and Associates of Science degree (with STEM distinction) in May 2024. My college goals are to attend a 4-year institution to obtain my bachelor’s degree, probably in an engineering field. I strive to achieve a high academic standard for myself as well as noticeable and meaningful growth in my sport. I have participated in pole vaulting since my freshman year of high school. I really enjoy this sport and the challenge it gives me both mentally & physically. I was completely new to this event as a freshman and worked my way to end the season with a PR of 11’9”, placing 7th place overall at state. My sophomore year I ended the season with a PR of 13'8". My junior year finished with a PR of 14'3" and a 6th place finish at state. I was the top freshman (2021), sophomore (2022) & junior (2023) in 4A. I am a very technical and analytical person which I believe is why I enjoy pole vaulting so much. It provides a challenge to me to further understand and perfect the process.
