Nicholas Wolf '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Wolf, and I am part of the 2024 graduating class at Farmington High School in Farmington, CT.  I run track, both Indoor and Outdoor, for Farmington High School and competed at the Varsity level as a sophomore.  I also compete with the Lebron Athletic Club, an elite club team, in the summer and offseason.  My primary focus is the Decathlon with my best event being the Javelin. I am 6’3”, 185 lbs. and work out at the gym a few times each week along with conditioning at Parisi Speed School.  My first Decathlon competition was the CIAC Decathlon State Championship from 6/13-14 2023.   This was my first time competing in 6 of the 10 events.  I qualified for the second day and ended up finishing 19th overall as a Junior with 4461 points.  My highlight was finishing 3rd overall in the Javelin in only my second time competing in the event.  My greatest strengths  are my work ethic, desire to be great and my untapped potential.  2023 was my first season of outdoor track after giving up baseball which was my primary sport.  Because of this I feel my ceiling is very high.  I will continue to focus on the Decathlon with my primary goal of competing for the Decathlon State Championship in 2024.  Here are all of the events I’ve competed in with my best performances through the 2023 outdoor season:
