I have only been doing track for 2 years, starting in my sophomore year in high school. From my first meet to my current PR, I have shaved off 10 seconds. While I am rather inexperienced, I make up for it with diligence, devotion, and high coachability.
I train hard year-round, take practice seriously, and always strive for self-improvement. I am responsible for my actions and will try my utmost to become an athlete worthy of competing at the highest level.
I have used my time in high school to find motivation to accomplish work so that I can graduate with a high GPA. It has taken a toll on my GPA, which I am determined to improve over the course of the next year to better exemplify the improvement my work ethic has undergone. I plan to implement what I have learned throughout high school in whatever manner is possible in the classroom.
I am looking for a college with a good psychology program and high athletic competition. I am open to many different options and overall, I wish to be worked hard and improve both in the classroom/lecture hall and on the track. I aim to push myself as well as my teammates to challenge themselves and work hard to achieve their goals.
