The biggest moment in my life was deciding to go to a private school for my junior high years. At this school, I learned many lessons in the classroom from my teachers and on the field playing soccer. My first year running track at a private school was a wake-up call to me showing me the different levels of athletes and understanding of the game. Being around people that were better than me gave me motivation and drive to achieve the knowledge which they had for the sport. A defining trait that I have is being teachable and wanting to try and not be afraid of messing up. Being teachable is what lead me to my success in finding a school that could develop my potential as a student-athlete. At Pomfret, I am constantly being challenged, but my determination to succeed and the ability to think in the long term have helped me. When I graduate from Pomfret I want to be versatile in many subjects so that When I go to college I will have information to connect each subject to my Major. When I go to college I want to pursue both track, soccer and grow as a student. I am hoping to minor in finance and business and major in health science to have the skills to open a practice or company and still have the skills to be engaged with working in the health field. I will be a good candidate for your team because I will be teachable to learn from your program and motivate myself and my teammates to our best selves on and off the field.
