Harold Phillips '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches,

    My name is Harold Phillips and I currently attend Newsome High School in Lithia Florida.   I have been running  track since I was 10 years old. I have ran in the hersheys track and field meets up until the summer when I joined the capital city track club and I qualified for the USATF nationals in the 4 by 400.  I also placed 7th in the USATF winter nationals.  Training has been a big part of my life and I am accustomed to working hard and going after my dreams.  I traveled accross the State of Connecticut to get expert training in all the field events, jumping events and hurdles.  Track and field for me has been such a blessing. I've participated many different events.  I would like to pursue a career as a decathlete.  In addion, I know how to run the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter, 1600 meter, 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, discus,  shotput, javelin , long jump, and highjump.  I am looking for a school that can help me perfect my skills in the above events. I am very determined to improved so I agreed to moved to Florida in my senior in order to get better training.    Also, I very well- rounded.  I sung for  four elite performance chiors in Connecticut.  Finally, when I get to college, I plan to apply to the pre-med pogram and later on go to medicial school to become an anesthesiologist. My determination and ambition is what drives me forward.  I am capable and ready to learn all the techniques and skills to become the best of the best. All I need is a coach who can see my potential, and a coach who won't just look at my skills in track but also look at my personality and me  as a  whole person.   I am willing to fight to reach my goals and to be a team player.  I stand out because I am willing to work harder than any one else.
