I aspire to become a low 4: 10 mile runner 1 day in the future. I wish to pursue my running goal by attending a college that can aid me in my target goal as well as provide great academic achievements, such as, obtaining my AA and getting my degree. On and off the track I am constantly working as a team player, whether it involve running or hitting the books. I strive to bring the people who are around me up. Ever since I was a Freshman in high school I have been the leader of my Cross Country and Track teams. Not to toot my own horn, but I believe it is because I am ambitious about running and school. Sometimes that ambition has came to hurt me, but I have finally found a balance. I make sure to do what is right by my body to refrain from injuries like I have encountered before.
As much as I love to run though I do wish to pursue a career in the medical field. As an athlete that has gone through some tough times, it always helped to have a doctor be there and aid me. A career in physical therapy, possibly a pediatrician, and minor in psychology. I have always felt compelled to help others. No matter what the problem may be, I want to be there for the person and help them attack the problems they face by their side.
