From the start of my high school career, it was a challenge of figuring out who I am and what I wanted to do in life. From the influence from my family, friends, and my religious life, I somewhat understand now of what I want to become as a person. Track/field was my first sport I ever did for a school(started it in my Freshman year), and really started to get interested with it in my sophomore year. The way I got interested with the sport was watching my track buddies getting major accomplishments through the sport, and so I wanted those accomplishments as well. For the same as cross country(started in my sophomore year), I got really into it by watching my teammates succeed at it, and so I wanted that as well. A thing that I learned about myself through my athletic career is that 100% dedication is required for my goals to be completed in my life. To help my team to succeed, and also for myself to succeed, I learned that everybody needs to do there part and be completely dedicated to it. My academic goals in high school is to gain a certain scholarship(Bright futures - 100% paid tuition for certain types of schools) by getting a certain score on my SAT/ACT, and having a GPA of a 3.5 or higher. For college, I want to major in some type of engineering. From the accomplishments(like how me and my cross country team finally made it to regionals since 2018) to my failures, I gain a lot of experience through all of the hard work that me and my team putted into it, and I was glad to be apart of such an amazing team. So, I want to continue my athletic career into college and be apart of a new team and create new experiences throughout my journey.
