My name is Parker Hicks. I am currently attending to Marion Military institute where I run cross country and track. Marion military institute is a 2-year
Junior college in Marion, Alabama. I am currently a freshman at this college also planning to stay to at this college for one more year before I decide to transfer to a 4-year university to continue my running career. Also I started running cross country and track my junior year of High school in 2020-2021. I feel like I'm just only scratching the surface with my running career and I have realized how much potential that I have when I am in a full swing of things with training. When it comes to my priorities grades definitely comes first and I believe that will take me farther in life than just running. I want to major in education/history to become a history teacher and coach back at my Alta mater at Port St Joe High School. When it comes to my mindset and I'm always a hard-worker. Also I am a team-player and very unselfish and I'm willing to do what ever it takes to reach the goals that we have as a team. I'm very thankful and blessed right now to be in this position to being a student-athlete in college and I looked forward to where my next stop will be.
