2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I've been running cross country since second grade on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. I love running cross country, and I am a strong middle-distance runner. I run year-round and have gotten recognition for making every practice, even in the summer. I run times given by my coach, follow his instructions and because of this, I have avoided injury while improving my PR on a regular basis. I go to cross country camps in the summer. I have been "runner of the week" many times.
I would like to continue to run competitively in college. I am interested in engineering, graphic design, and studio art. Specifically aerospace engineering, painting. I feel I would be a good fit for any collegiate team, as I am a team player and truly enjoy running.
