Having a mind set like no other athlete is the greatest thing I have. What makes me different from any other athlete, is how I always try to find a way to focus on my improvements in order to surpass myself and my oppents. I've been running since 6th grade, though however, I never joined any sport or team. At that time, I really never had the mind set to actually try to achieve a goal for myself. Over the years, I realized I should start getting involve in a team that would help me focus on a goal. Being on a team encouraged me I could do anything with the right set of mind. I believe that training with a purpose in mind helps you realize that it's never too early to start a goal. I started from struggling from running a mile without wheezing to becoming one of the top two varsity runners in the Cross Country and top three for the two mile in Track and Field. This year, I have big goals to achieve and I know with a lot of determination it will help me become better. I like to be very determine to my sports as well as to be determine in my academics . Being an athlete is not only to give 100% in any sport, you also have to give 100% in school.
