Sports have always been a big part of my life and am always finding myself doing a sport. When I began running, I didn't want to do it. As I ran more and more I started to enjoy it. As a Freshman, I won our Freshman Sections race in Cross Country and was varsity the next year. As a Sophomore, my varsity team won the Sections race and went to states. As a Junior, I finished 9th overall in my Section. Team is a big thing for me. I love the team I am with and they have pushed me to be a better runner.
With the sports I am playing, I also do well in school. I am dual-enrolled in college and high school classes. I keep myself even busier by volunteering at the church I attend and volunteer whenever I hear of other opportunities. Even though I do all of this I still do three sports a year and am working during the summer to get better at running and do classes during the summer.
