My name is Kasen Evans. I run track at portal high school. My events are the 100m 200m 400m 4x200m and 4x400m. In the past I have run the 4x400 in which that team went to state in which was my 9th grade year. Sophomore year I was the only male runner on the team and since we didn’t have enough For a 4x400m I was put in the 400m in which I just took off in. I was really good at it i improved significantly overall in the 400m that year I went from running a 56-57 to running a 52 and as a sophomore in high school that feels really good. I’m going into senior year right now and I’m feeling a lot faster and stronger especially in the weight room. I can bench 315, squat 450, powerclean 275, and deadlift 430 at only 160lbs. this year my goal is to win state, keep my grades up, and get on college radars.
