Track and field became my true passion at the age of 14 and my dedication to the sport has only grown stronger over the years. My ultimate goal is to compete at the collegiate level, where I can fully immerse myself in the sport and push my abilities to new heights. The journey began in middle school when I was honored with the Rookie of the Year award, which served as a pivotal moment that solidified my dedication to track and field.
As I progressed through my athletic journey, I evolved into a team leader, taking on responsibilities and inspiring my teammates to give their best. Recently, my commitment and hard work were recognized when I was awarded the 2022-2023 Sprinter of the Year at my high school.
Alongside my athletic pursuits, I understand the significance of maintaining a strong academic foundation. I have consistently maintained a GPA of 3.5 and actively challenged myself with advanced coursework and Honors/AP classes. In my search for a college, I am seeking an institution that not only provides rigorous academic programs and a supportive community but also offers an exceptional track and field program with top-notch coaching, resources, and opportunities to compete at the collegiate level.
