Gideon Coprivnicar '21 Recruiting Profile

I want to further both my athletic and academic careers, while being able to challenge myself in both. I started taking track seriously about two years ago and have made huge leaps in my successes; with that success I have dreamt of collegiate competition for a while.

 I have always been the driving force in my goals with no one else pushing me but myself. That and my leadership capabilities are what I consider to be two of my best defining qualities. I was Varsity Soccer Captain and Varsity Track Captain my Junior Year for high school and have had other opportunities to lead including being a key founding member of a local non-profit.

Academics are a huge focus in my life. I consider them a priority out of almost everything I do. Currently my life goal would be to study biophysics, and go on to build prosthetics for athletes with disabilities.
