My name is Maximus Cervi-Skinner. I am from Coeur d ’Alene Idaho and I am in my Sophomore year of high school at CHS. (Coeur d‘Alene High School). I am a passionate runner who understands that hard work and dedication pay off, and am ready to work. My favorite thing about running is that I get regular opportunities to push myself to the limit and can see what my body really can do and handle. Last year as a Freshman, I competed against Seniors from across the state and within our region at Nike XR. This gave me a glimpse of what’s possible and what my future will look like as a high school cross-country and track athlete. Now, as a Sophomore, I’ve trained harder in order to really compete in my state and region. I take this same attitude and perseverance for success into all of the other things I do including academics, surfing, skiing, being a son, and a brother.
I look forward to finding a college that embraces my principals and helps me be able to continue to evolve into the athlete and person that I want to become.
