From 2nd grade to 6th grade I played basketball then I discovered the world of running when I was invited to a time trial at our HS at the end of 5th grade where I finished 1st place in the 1600M. I retired from basketball and have been running ever since. I run year round and enjoy balancing my rigorous academic activities with the physical challenge of running. In the classroom I have achieved excellent grades at the same time I have surprised myself with consistent improvements in running times.
1600M: Frosh 5:45, Soph 5:09, Junior 4:44
800M: Frosh 2:34, Soph 2:15, Junior 2:05
XC: Frosh 19:00 flat, Soph XC 17:05, Junior XC 16:53, Senior XC 16:28
I really enjoy the process of setting/achieving personal goals that can also contribute to overall team goals. To realize personal goals along with team goals is twice as good! I would love to go to a school to major in Computer Science/Math and be able to balance that with a XC/Track team.
