Hunter Fedderke '17 Recruiting Profile

I've had the ambition to start running ever since I was a young boy. I mixed baseball and running into one sport. I used to throw a whiffle ball into the air, hit it, then run around to pick up the ball and repeat the process over and over. My mom couldn't keep me outside from running around. Running is not just a hobby for me it is a passion. A passion that has stuck with me for most of my life. Running at the collegiate level would be an honor, not only for me but for my family as well. It will only show how much hard work and dedication I have put into the sport I love. I am dedicated to cross country and I always look for new ways to better myself. I'm open to criticism because it will only make me better in the long term. Running at the collegiate level will allow me to better develop my skills and strengthen my weaknesses. I've always loved school, just everything about it. And I even tell my parents that school comes first, which allows me to say I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout grade school. I strive everyday to become a striking individual not only in the sporting world but in the academic world as well. As a runner, I have the dedication, and the positive attitude towards never giving up no matter what the circumstance. Running is the sport I love to do, and I would love to continue participating in the sport for as long as I am able to. Thank You for your generous time.
