I first began discus in 6th grade. I had so much fun that I wanted to pursue it full time in the spring, so I had to break the unfortunate news to my parents that I wanted to quit baseball to pursue track full time. Fast forward 7 years and now I am the number 1 discus thrower on my team for the past 3 years and have enjoyed every second of it. I love being able to put in the work and see the distance increase every time. I would love to have the opportunity to pursue this sport at a collegiate level.
