I'm Sawyer Lewis. I aspire to be a collegiate student athlete. Athletics has played a huge role in my life, and I appreciate the opportunity to continue at the next level. But I also understand that it is about more than just sports: it's about work ethic, team work, setting and reaching goals. To that end, you will be proud to have me represent your institution. You won't have to question whether I gave it my all in that off season work out, whether I am willing to listen or whether I will show up to class. I did. I am. I will. As I didn't come from a 'running' family, my appreciation for the sport is new and flourishing. So I am growing and learning. My coaches have been incredibly helpful and have me on the right path to increase my performance and reduce my times. More than that, they have passed on the passion for the life journey that running can become.
I am looking for the school where I can reach my potential academically, athletically and socially. Being a part of a team never stops, whether its T-ball, track or my career.
