John Chavis III '16 Recruiting Profile

My primary goal is to attend a top quality college or university where I will attain a valuable college degree.  My focus is on the quality of education that I will receive at a particular institution of higher learning.  I truly enjoy track and want to continue my athletic pursuits in college. I want to attend a university that will help me achieve both goals; specifically, academic achievement and conference championships.  I want to major in Athletic Training with an emphasis on Sports Management and Business.  I see myself as a training for a college or professional sports team or even a track and field coach.  For any college or university in which I express interest, I humbly believe that I am an excellent candidate for that institution's track team.  I believe I have just started to scratch the surface on how fast I can run.  With collegiate training, I am confident that I will meet and exceed my coaches' expectations for me.  Secondly and more important, I am a good teammate who will encourage others and looks forward to receiving advice and direction from my teammates.  I am a kind and caring person who wants to do his best for myself, coaches and teammates.
