Since 6th grade, my goal has always been to just improve every race and I am glad that I have been able to abide by this goal as well as I can. Until recently I never thought about running track for a college team. I just had never thought I was fast enough until I made it to state as a Junior in the 200m. Since this, my goal is to run for a college track team and earn a Sustainability Degree.
I am a dual sport athlete who is very competitive with others and myself. My main focus is to analyze what I do wrong in a race, work in practice to fix it, and then repeat til it is perfected. With this method I have been able to set the sky as my limit and I do not plan on stopping.
I would like to go into the Sustainability/Environmental Science Field because the earth is our home and we need to take care of it. We only have one earth and we have to make it last as long as possible and with the way we are living as civilizations is shortening our time faster and faster. Combining my Athleticism with my goal to make the world a better place to help me become my best version of myself and further my academic experience, while doing a sport I love is what keeps me moving forward and focused on what is important. I give my all in the things I love and care about to make my choices to build my best version and to be someone colleges hopefully see as a good fit for them.
