Brock DeBello '25 Recruiting Profile

I found out I was fast just few years ago. After a baseball win, the "fastest kids" on the team had a race off. Nobody looked at me to participate in it. The last race of the day was me against the "fastest center fielder" and I beat him. From that moment, I had a desire to win and run. On a whim, my track coach had me run the 200m this year and I ended up breaking the school record on my first try. It felt so good! Now my goal is to break our 400m and to run in college. I believe I have raw talent and I am nowhere near my potential. My morals and values are strong and I am a good teammate. I enjoy seeing others succeed and being around winners who want to work hard. I am a 4.0 top 15 student and academics and doing for others are just as important to me as being successful on the track.
