Personal Statement

I am 6'2, I weigh 172 lbs, and my seed time in the 100meter dash is a 11.01. With my training for the last two years, which includes five months before evry season starts I have been able to increase my speed by 49 fractions of a second. For example in my freshmen year I ran a best time of 12.1, and in my sophmore year my best time was 11.5. In my junior year my best time was an 11.01. With my training and improvements every year my time is estimated to be a 10.5 my senior year. After two years of high school Track I had the pleasure to experince a state regional champoinship on the 4x100 team running as first leg. This win was able to take me to the state finals. My team and I competed but were not able to win the finals. The experince has motivated me to train more so that I can develope my skills and be able to win a state title for my senior year. I am a person that can always be relied on. I started running track in the fifth grade and ran every season since then. I would to attened a school in my state and outside my state if required to. I am looking for a school that is best for my major (astronomy. My desired major is astronomy. My realistic goals are to come in as a freshmen under good college coaching and make and make a good impact on my team, by improving my skills in the 100, 200, and 4x100 dash. By doing this I beleive I can run at the high level in college and beyond.
