Personal Statement
I started to practice Track and Field since I was 16 and aspired to run at a high level since then. From my first season to the present day, I have always managed to qualify for international competitions: European Championship and World Championship. With my prominence in the past seasons, I wanted to look for a bigger challenge. Having the opportunity to compete in college is a unique opportunity that can change my whole life.
I am a struggling person in life, and that made me a boy capable of facing any challenge without fear. I have goals and I have been working tirelessly, because I have faith that my opportunity will come. I train hard all year; I am competitive, focused and determined. I am very receptive and strive to be one of the hardest working runners and one of the toughest recruits you will find.
In the classroom, I study hard and try to maintain a high GPA. I also work in the Information Technology Department, and I usually volunteer in many other areas. I am always ready to learn new things and help where I can help.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I want to find stability; to be able to develop my talent in Track and Field and go as far as possible. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible and where I can achieve my academic goals. I aim to become an excellent role model for all my colleagues and make my parents proud.
