Personal Statement
Hi coaches,
My name is Guillem Rubirola, and I am a young athlete from Spain who is eager to join a collegiate track and field team in the United States. I wanted to introduce myself and express my interest in becoming a College team.
I am a dedicated and passionate athlete with a strong background in competitive running. I‘m focused on the 800m, 1500m, and cross country. These experiences have not only helped me develop my physical abilities but have also instilled in me a sense of discipline, perseverance, and a strong work ethic.
In addition to my athletic pursuits, I am an avid learner who constantly seeks knowledge and personal growth. I am involved in various activities outside of athletics that fuel my intellectual curiosity. I am an active member of a robotics club, where I engage in hands-on problem-solving and collaborative projects. Furthermore, I take programming classes to further expand my skill set in the ever-evolving field of technology. Additionally, I work as a private tutor, providing academic support and guidance to elementary school children. This experience has taught me patience, adaptability, and effective communication skills.
I believe that my relentless drive to learn and explore new opportunities, combined with my athletic abilities, academic achievements, and character, make me a well-rounded candidate for your team. I am excited about the prospect of joining to a university community, contributing positively to both the team and the campus as a whole.
