Joshua Browne '15 Recruiting Profile

I am the 2014 New Zealand title holder for my age group in the 1500 m, and runner up in the 800 m.  I am also head of track at my school and help organize and manage a number of athletic events, as well as help train and mentor younger athletes. My aspiration is to compete successfully at the highest possible level representing my university, and country.  Competing successfully at the Olympic level is my dream.  Academic performance is also extremely important to me and I work hard to maintain good grades alongside a busy training schedule. I seek to maintain high personal values including integrity, loyalty and perseverance.  I  believe I have much to contribute to a track and field and cross country team. I highly value and follow the advice of my coach and enjoy being able to encourage and support other team members.
