Personal Statement
I am an aspiring athlete with big dreams to one day compete on a professional level and on the highest of stages. These include global competitions such as the World Athletics Championships and of course the Olympic Games. I am willing to put in all I have into achieving my goal and I feel that I have the necessary commitment and work ethic to go far in this sport. I also feel that I have the natural talent and I also believe that with the right opportunity and guidance, I can fulfil my potential.
I also believe I can be a good candidate for your team as I have a hard-working attitude and a willingness to get better at my craft everyday. Along with my other characteristics that I mentioned earlier I have an interest in listening and learning from others. Also I believe that by joining your team and being part of an extremely competitive environment I can thrive even further.
Academics is something I see just as importantly as athletics which may be different to other's perspective and I take academics very seriously. I believe I have the grades and what it takes to be part of your team.
