Personal Statement
Hello recruiters and coaches, I am a very hardworking, dedicated and consistent student athlete. I have a very interesting journey from where I where I started and to where I am now. When I first started taking track and field serious it was grade 9.My first year running track I ran a time of 1:03.04. This was a time I didn't like it and people was also doubting me. When people doubt me, it helps me work harder. So over the offseason I worked very hard to improve to be stronger and better for next season I take my offseason very seriously because it gives me time to prepare mentally and physically for next season. Next season I was better than I was. I worked very hard over the offseason and it was time to improve myself. I closed out the season with a 55.06. Then when I started offseason training again I worked even harder. I ran the beach and hill and I also worked out in the gym. When the next season started, I went to an indoor meet in Virginia and I opened up with a 52.85. As track meets go on my times dropped and I ended up making the national team for team Bahamas and at the time my 400 time was 50.03. And as more track meets passed by I closed out my season with a 49.55. I am very consistent and I am determined and hungry for my goals. My goals for next season is to open up with a 47 qualify for the national team with 46 and also to run a45 next season also. I am a very hardworking and determined person.
