Personal Statement
Coming to the US to compete in a highly competitive cross country/track division has always been my plan, as i believe it will develop me to become the best senior distance runner i can be. Now that I have finished High school I look to come over to the states either in the spring of 2014 or in the autumn of 2014.
I can offer drive and determination to a team. My desire to work hard in life often transpires well in competitions. However, any disappointing results are there to reflect and learn from.
My planned degree at university would be in Geology. I have a passion for it and have done it as one of my chosen subjects at High School.
My realistic goals for the near future are to lower my 800 m, 1500 m and 3000 m track times. Furthermore, I want to go into my last junior cross country season strong, with the goal being a top 6 at the European Cross Country Trials in Liverpool.
The long term goal is to keep working hard, improving steadily each year and to become a top class senior distance runner.
