Mack Ritson '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mackenzie (Mack) Ritson, a student-athlete at Bradley Stoke Community School in Bristol, England. I will graduate in Summer 2025 and plan to take a gap year to focus on my athletic development before seeking collegiate opportunities starting Fall 2026.  

As a dedicated sprinter, I have achieved personal bests of 21.82 seconds in the 200 meters and 11.07 seconds in the 100 meters. I was honored to represent England in the 200m at the SIAB Schools International after placing 2nd at the English School Finals. Currently, I am part of the England Athletics Youth Talent Programme, which reflects my commitment to excelling at the highest levels of competition.  

Academically, I maintain a strong core GPA of 3.6, demonstrating my ability to balance athletics with my studies. Despite facing challenges, including an injury at the start of the 2023 season and training without a coach for the past two years, I have remained resilient and focused on achieving my goals. I believe my determination, work ethic, and untapped potential make me a strong candidate for your team.  

What sets me apart is my combination of athletic talent, academic discipline, and character. I am eager to grow under the guidance of a collegiate program and contribute to the team’s success both on and off the track.
