Personal Statement
My name is Mackenzie (Mack) Ritson and I am a student-athlete at Bradley Stoke Community School in Bristol, England and graduate in the Summer 2025. I am writing to express my strong interest in competing for your track program.
I am a dedicated athlete with a personal best of 21.82 seconds in the 200 meters and 11.29 seconds in the 100 meters. Additionally, I maintain a strong academic record with a core GPA of 3.6. I have also had the honour of representing England over 200m in SIAB Schools International, after finishing 2nd at English school finals and currently part of the England athletics Youth Talent Programme.
I believe I have a lot of potential for improvement, I was injured at the beginning of the 2023 season and have been without a coach for the last 2 years. With my athletic abilities, academic performance, and dedication I would make a valuable addition to your team.
