Personal Statement
Athletics has been my main event since I was four years old. I have tried many other sports but keep coming back to athletics because of the strong sense of community in my club where my passion for the sport is shared by everyone.
I have a great work ethic and can improvise well under pressure. I work very hard to constantly improve my PB's and techniques through the great training with my coaches.
I sometimes struggle in school but with the help of my teachers and after school language lessons my grades are steadily improving.
My club and school are very small. I have no other athletes running in my age group so when I got the chance to run a 400m relay at a national level I loved every part of it. My team gave me a reason to drive harder than ever, even getting a PB. I feel like I could get this and more by running at a collegiate level, where I can improve myself in school and on the track.
