Personal Statement

I am an international student that goes to a school in Moscow, Russia, although I am from Florida, USA and Sevenoaks, UK I have lived in Russia for 13 years and in Cairo, Egypt for 3 years. I have a wide cultural experience as I travel a lot around the world which gives me a different attitude towards most things. I have traveled to modern countries such as the US and England, to countries such as Botswana, Zambia, Egypt, and more. I have been studying in Russia, Egypt, and Florida so I have experienced many types of teaching methods. Not only this I am apart of Ambassadors, Global Impact Club (Executive), Environmental Club (President),  Peer Helpers, ICC (The school club organizers), and NHS. I am an athlete who cares a lot more about my studies than my athletics. I am currently taking the International Bachlorretewhich is a very rigorous 2-year high school course, I am taking HL Business, Economics, and Language Literature, while my SL's are Spanish, AA Math, and Chemistry. This means I will be focusing a lot more on my academics than sports now. My goal is to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Finance (possibly with accounting as a double major) or Chemical Engineering. This is due to the courses I currently take that has impacted me on a positive basis that interest me and excel at. Although I can not decide if I want to pursue chemical engineering or accounting. I have been raised playing sports like basketball for 6 years, surfing for 10, running for 4, soccer for 3, and more. Which has shown as I have won Athlete of the Year in my Freshman year (2018) and Athlete of the Year (2019) in Sophomore year, and 9 school athletic penguin awards. I also want to continue sports at university as the sports I play are my hobbies and it makes me work towards something. I have joined a club track and field team, CSKA, which is one of the top clubs in Europe, so I can reach my untapped potential with proper coaching and competition. I have experienced many things that I can not just explain in one written section.
