Personal Statement
I am in twelfth grade and looking at running a low 13.00 in the 110m hurdles .At a local track and field meet February 16th(Club Monica) I ran a personal best this season at 14.02 in the 0.99 hurdles. Just two weeks earlier at Star Performers Classic did a season opener of 14.10.I espected to do better at the last meet, but it was a rainy day. I have Carifta trials at the end of March which is where the best of the Caribbean meet in track and field competition.
My main focus academically is to improve my SAT scores . I would like to compete at Division 1, but I take full responsibility for not focusing as much as I should have in Junior and Sophomore years. Nonehtheless, I am doing the core subjects in the national B.G.C.S.E.'.s and will get good grades in them. I really want to be a student -athlete who is able to get a quality education and compete at the most competitive levels. I do want to go to the olympics in 2016, as I have dedicated the last four years of my life to track and field after exiting soccer and karate which I was incolved with since age 3. I enjoy track and field and I want to maximkize my potential and get an education the same time.
I will graduate this June and hope to make the right decision about the right fit for me. I want a coach who will ensure that I am trained well and also pursue a degree in Engineering.

- I was apart of the team that won the 400 x 100m relay in the under 20 boys division in a time of 42.44, and was selected to participate at the Penn relay carnical. My school came 33rd. Disappointing as we ran a better time at home.The experience was great.

- I have been doing track and field for the past four years, after over 5 years of soccer and karate as a child. I can also do long jump, but my coach trains me for 110mh and sprints. I am presently training for World Junior going to attain my country's qualification time of 14.24. With my speed drills between the hurdles, I believe I will achieve that at a meet on May 26th at The Goldedn Eagle Classic in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
