2022 NSW All scho...Personal Statement
I am an Australian elite/national junior triathlete looking to compete for a college as a cross country athlete. Although I might not currently be running the quickest times, I attribute this too having to train/compete for three disciplines as triathlon necessitates. I believe that with a solid running focused training program, I will be able to be competitive at the top end of college cross country and significantly improve upon my PR’s.
For the last couple of months I have started training with ex Aus Olympian Scott Westcott and have seen significant improvements in my running over a short period of time, and believe that I can continue this trend of improvement with a top college team.
Coming from an Air Force family, I have been brought up on a moral basis of respect, integrity and to strive for excellence, and I look to emphasise this in my running. I love physically pushing myself to the extremes of my abilities through sport and maximising my potential.
