Personal Statement
I have been jumping when I was 18 years old and managed to represent my country Botswana on several occasions. Therefore I am looking to jump and an environment that is conducive enough for me to be at my best.I know that jumping in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I believe with proper training and proper facilities it should be easy to jump my target for the season which is 53ft. I strongly believe i can do it and should have done, i have had difficult past three season because of patella tendonitis but now since i have recovered i believe I am in a position to show the best of me. I am hard on my books, and the results that I have archived speak volumes.
I have also been a part of a scholarship group at the University of East London which has helped me a lot and developed me into a better and motivated athlete.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
