Personal Statement
I have been involved in sports since I was around 4 years old and Track and Field has been a more recent endeavor of mine yet is one that best helps me showcase my athletic capabilities as well as my personality as an individual. Track and Field is a rigorous sport and I am through this sport able to demonstrate my unique work ethic and my enjoyment of the intense training process along with the harsh life lessons that come with it. My goals are to run Track for a Division I school and to find great success in events such as the 400 Meter Dash by achieving times under 45/46 second barrier. I am a natural leader and can take on the responsibilities that come with the sport of sprinting while also supporting those around me in the most beneficial way possible. I am someone who pushes myself both in athletics but also academics so that I can strive for success and truly show the individual that I am. I feel that this personality will also help me find a job in my preferred industry of business as such a hardworking and devoted personality is required in this industry. I feel that what sets me apart from other candidates is my general ability to stay motivated toward my goals while also striving for success and making sure that the work I do is always to the best of my ability and will truly demonstrate the person that I am. My willpower and my general ability to have a positive influence on the environments that I involve myself in is what makes me a unique candidate for Division I Track and Field schools.
