Kaden Rodriguez '19 Recruiting Profile

My first year running cross country was last year; my first race after only training for two weeks I ran a 21:00 5k. By the end of the season I was running a 19:45. Last season I was able to get down a an 18:00(cross country course) but on a track my fastest 5k was 16:38.  My fastest during the cross country season (I'm in my junior year) is a 17:51 but I am working with a personal trainer to get faster. This year I was the cross country captain and next season i will most likely be the captain; in the upcoming track season I will most likely end up being the captain as well.By my senior year I hope to be running an average time of  16:00. On a track my fastest 5k time is 16.08 but it is both unofficial and lacks the hills and etc that typically slow times down. I have high hopes for cross country and I also have big plans for college. I want to go to college get a masters degree for mechanical engineering.  My entire life i have played at least three sports at once and i have always been an honor roll student with high expectations of myself and i expect and except nothing short of great as challenging as it is majority of the time.
