Personal Statement
Hello,
I am Kemarrio Bygrave, a high school senior and have been running track since I was 10 years old. I currently attend high school in Kingston, Jamaica, the famous Jamaica College, and consider myself a very committed, hardworking and disciplined athlete who is eager to continue my journey in track and field, and also to further my education. I am the current Boys and Girls 800 meters Champion for the last two years and completed that win on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
I am enthusiastic about joining a team to help contribute to their sports program, to foster teamwork, build relationships and help to win championships. I see myself with a lot of potentials and with the right team, I can continue to do great things. I have been running in the local and overseas level winning at the Boys Athletic Championship, CARIFTA, Pan Am Games, and the Penn Relays. My focus races are the 400, 800 and 1500 meters and I look forward to joining a team any time soon!
